...do you know what we do?

This was the Lit-ist week.

Tuesday:

Preparation day went well. Bought some more music at Deseret Book. We had enough time to play some sports ball at the church. Then we went and did some teaching and stuff. Also didn't get a haircut so that now has priority this week. We had a kind of all over the place lesson with an investigator that eventually ended up being worthwhile because she said the closing prayer. So that was good.

Wednesday:

We started updating our progress records better so we can see that we are actually doing work and stuff. As a result we found and taught a new investigator today. Also, we found out that President Thomas S. Monson died. It was something we all knew was going to happen soon but it was weird to think that he wasn't here anymore, especially since he has been the president of the church since I was 9. Nevertheless, I know the new prophet will be called of God and we will be blessed to have a prophet on the earth again.

Thursday:

We had weekly planning and actually had a VERY productive day afterwards. We had a good lesson with an investigator with a RM from Mexico with us. And yeah. Missionary work happened. We also had a coordination meeting with Hansen and our Ward Mission Leader was playing Breath of the Wild when we arrived.

Friday:

Pretty normal day except we drove to the middle of nowhere on the far side of Murtaugh to find an old investigator and didn't do it. At least I have some pictures of the middle of nowhere out of it!

Saturday:

We had a baptism for a person! Also we had our favorite investigator there! It went really well. Even though the water was cold and he hit his head on the side of the font. ALSO ELDER HODGE and Elder Conner were there! It was amazing. This was the point when I was certain that life wasn't real anymore. (jk it definitely is but it was a very, very lit day.) Also we went a bit south of Hansen and found where all of the dairy workers lived. We got a potential investigator, a new investigator, and a return appointment with an old investigator. The day ended with us teaching an 8 year old whose family is just starting to come back to church after having Ice Cream at Arctic Circle.

Sunday:

We had a confirmation for a person! The rest of the day also went pretty well to. We visited our favorite investigator and set a baptismal date with him. He is going to shoot for June 8th! So I probably won't be here but I think he can definitely be ready by then.

Monday:

Today has been good so far. Should get better. I forgot to bring clothes to play sports ball so I may have to do that in a tie. Cafe Rio is happening again today. Sweet Pork Barbacoa may actually be an addictive substance...

OK NOT MUCH TIME LOVE YOU BYE

Q & A

1. What was the best thing that happened this week? We set a baptismal date with an investigator, he also came with us to the baptism this Saturday and felt the Spirit.

2. How are you feeling? (Cold thing) Cold thing is over.

3. What are you studying currently? I finished the BOM and am starting over again with the challenge. I've been following Laman and Lemuel. If you look closely, their actions do make some sense and everyone is a Laman more often than they think--not that we should be but it is still interesting.

4. What was your favorite meal this week? We had like this potato-sausage thing in Murtaugh. It was pretty good.

5. Anything funny happen this week, that made you smile or laugh? Elder Snow is hilarious. Also our ward mission leader for Hansen. We went over to his house for a coordination meeting and he was playing Breath of the Wild. Direct quote,
"Yes, this is Breath of the Wild. I was actually just in the middle of killing something so if you don't mind waiting a second."
*dies while trying to kill a thing*
"Darn, I need to buy more shields... OK let's have correlation"

6. What’s your favorite song right now on your playlist/USB Drive? The Soldier and the Thief- Nashville Tribute Band

7. Do you need anything? Nope everything is chill in Hansen right now.

8. When you buy groceries, where do you buy them from? Normally Walmart but probably Target today because it's Meds time again.

9. What is your go to spiritual thought you share when eating with members? Well, when I first got out we did Meridian Temple. Then right after that we did Light the World. So now all we have is the Restored Gospel, so we usually share that.

10. Why do you not put beans on a ceviche tostada? The lady from Guatemala told me not to.

Love you! This week was Lit. So I may not even be able to describe how Lit it was. I am pretty sure I died on Tuesday and went to the Spirit World to do missionary work because nothing has gone wrong.
