Idk if you can go there, is your hair rebel enough? - Elder Hodge

The Rebel Hair Cut Tuesday: Pretty normal day. We met with one of the Branch Missionaries. He seems like he has connections and will be able to help us get in to teach some people. Wednesday: Also a normal day. We were walking around and some people honked at us and said "HEY ELDERS!" We waved and kept walking, but they wanted to talk to us. It was a film crew making a safety video for the MTC. They had two missionaries with them that served in our area not too long ago who were helping someone hold something onto the back of a truck but the wind picked it up and took them with it. They survived and look OK  now. I had heard about that story from a family a few weeks ago but yeah, apparently there are lessons to be learned from their story. Thursday: Weekly Planning! Which means we don't really leave the house until after lunch. Nothing much else of interest happened except we did exchanges with the Zone Leaders Thursday night (Elder Hodge

OK! CRAZY WEEK! LET'S DO IT. I have my journal with me so I can be more accurate this time. Monday: I did more plumbing! This time it was the bathroom sink drain. No pictures because nobody needs to suffer through that. I also tightened the toilet seat so it doesn't try to kill me when I use it. We went to Panda Express and a nice man tried to give us money to buy our lunch, we told him we weren't supposed to accept that, and he told us that if we didn't take the money he would just follow us up to the front of the line and pay before we could pay for it, so he got to pay. People here are REALLY nice. After Preparation Day ended we visited a few people including a less-active/part member family. She likes to argue/bash, I like to argue/bash. However I am not supposed to argue/bash. This was difficult for me, but it was all OK in the end. They are really nice people.  THEN, when me and Elder Hodge returned to our house and were writing down miles in th

THIS WEEK This format of email seemed to work well while I was in the MTC. So I'm going to do it like this again today. Tuesday: Tuesday was preparation day. We  went to Twin Falls. It was kinda rough because we had to go with some other Elders and it took longer than expected. But we did get all we needed. I will send you pics.  Wednesday: We went to Oakley! We got lost trying to find dinner and got the Cruze stuck in the mud. We are going to ask for the RAV4, anyway, I found some dead brush and stuck it under the wheel and we escaped. We had dinner and then went to visit a less active family to see how they were doing. We got lost and almost went to Utah. But we didn't. We went to go visit some other families but nobody was home. I don't remember what day this happened, but we also ended up behind the Oakley reservoir, I got pics. I'm fairly certain we visited Walter today too. He is a legend. He is from Peru, he was a shepherd an

OK! Gotta go fast again. We went down to Oakley a few times. It is really cool down there, close to the mountains and lots of old buildings. We also saw a house with cows in the front yard, they were scared of us (the cows). We have pretty much visited everyone that was already being visited and need new people to teach. It'll work out, but it is hard right now because everyone is still busy harvesting things. Apparently they are done with the beets and are almost done with potatoes. Hopefully people will be home soon. I saw a Hot Springs Arkansas U-Haul trailer, but didn't take a picture of it, now it is gone, so I took a picture in front of another U-Haul trailer instead. I did see an Arkansas license plate though and I did take a picture of that. Also, one of the leaders of the YSA's family is from and currently lives in Floral AR and Batesville. Also, lots of people think that Arkansas is either Kansas, or right next to G
