A Subject Line that Does NOT involve snow

Image
Well, I took some pictures. Its snowing like crazy and we will be busy cleaning it up... Last week we had a meeting in Twin Falls. It's always cool to see the other missionaries in the mission. Last Sunday we had close to 30 people on the Spanish group! Hopefully it keeps growing ! QOTW: "Now Guatemala, that is part of Mexico right?" I know this isn't much, but a picture is worth a thousand words right? The work goes on!!! Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip

Mother's Day Came Early This Year

Transfers Happened! I'm now on a 6 week long exchange with Elder Chavez. Elder Silva got shipped off to Boise. Transfers were really cool because I got to see some of the missionaries that I haven't seen in a while. I was smiling the whole time. The biggest news this week is that we can call home every week if we want to. It's honestly such a huge change that it still doesn't register properly in my mind. Anyway, that is all I have for this week, next week will be a little bit more detailed as life normalizes again. Here are some pictures! It's cold and there is still snow on the ground. So we will hopefully go sledding again. Stay safe and call your parents! -Elder Hazeslip

We may be about to break a snowfall record up here!  I think there was almost a foot and a half yesterday in some places. And more to come! It was so bad that they CANCELLED CHURCH on Sunday. In HAILEY, the city with probably the best snow removal equipment in Idaho. So we spent most of Sunday shoveling snow instead of going to church.  [Update: the snow that we dug yesterday is magically re-appearing...] Maybe if the snow holds up, we won't be able to drive to transfers and we'll have to stay until the end of March. How terrible that would be! Saturday was a really good day! We had two baptisms, one in Richfield for a lady Elder Silva and I started teaching back in November when we still covered Richfield Spanish, and another one for someone we found at about the same time in Bellevue.  The second baptism we almost had to cancel because of the snow. When we called the sister who was going to be baptized to see if she wanted to postpone, she told us, &

This will be the shortest email of my mission!  We had lots of snow in Hailey this morning and lots of people called us to help. So we did that, then we came down to Twin and went to the Temple. It was amazing! The biggest miracle of this week happened yesterday. We have a baptism on Saturday! We are really excited for her! Here are pictures! More complete email next week!  P- Day last week:  Snow Service: Temple in Twin Falls:
