Yep, I'm done

We got to got to the temple with another recent convert. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the temple is an awesome place. I'd recommend it. We went fishing this morning. Tomorrow I'll be with my family. I have no idea how I got to this point, but I'm not complaining about it. I really have enjoyed my mission. I know that I have learned and grown a lot. I am probably not going to fully appreciate it for a bit after I go home.  Thanks for reading about my mission! Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip Pictures:

Hello everybody. I'm going to keep this short and let the pictures do the talking. We had a really fun week. On the 4th of July we got asked to help with the family history center's float. We handed out pamphlets for people to "find their roots". Since those "my family" pamphlets are technically missionary pamphlets, we handed out at least 200, maybe more. That night we played with sparklers and watched the Buhl fireworks. Although aerial fireworks are illegal here, lots of people added their own fireworks to the show. We also had the opportunity to go to the temple with Symphony, a recent convert. It was a really cool experience. The spirit in the temple is very strong!! OK , here are pictures. this is my last week LOVE YOU! -Elder Hazeslip

HELLO! Sorry I didn't send anything last week. (but let's be real, 90-something weeks and I missed one email, not bad) We are now back in the family history center and I have some stories to tell. Last week for preparation day Elder Greenwood and I went fishing. A member in one of our wards had some secret technique to catch all of the trout in this huge lake (it involved a lot of powerbait) SO we caught a lot of fish. Then we ate them later. It was a good time. Throughout the week we had a lot of success. It is all part of the fundamental theory of trunkiness: "If you think about home constantly, but work hard, it cancels out and you are never trunky." -Dr. Castellano  So I will be continuing to apply this for the rest of my time in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention? Elder Hazeslip   is  an  OFFICIAL   IDAHO   PoCaTeLlO   MISSIONARY!!! SO LIFE IS GREAT!!!! Love Y'all, -Elder Hazeslip (Subjec

So, we can't do much today. Elder Smith got his Visa and went to Ecuador, so I will be in a trio with Elder Woffinden and Nielson for the time being! More updates next week! Enjoy life! Oh yeah, and I made a ring this week. That's the fire -Elder Hazeslip

The Hidden Canyon

Hello everybody. This week has been weird. The days are ticking down. We had our final zone conference with President Bartlett. It also may have been my final zone conference as well. Time will tell.  ENDURING TO THE END! This week we have managed to stay busy through the trunkiness. Elder Smith got his visa this week so he will be going to Ecuador next week. We visited all of the people we normally do. We also contacted new people during a dust storm in Castleford. When we were on our way to see a family we visit every week in Castleford, we realized that we were early. So we went to the end of the road to turn around and realized that there was a FAT CANYON less than a mile south of their house. We explored that then returned just in time for the appointment.  Anyway, all I have left for this week are pictures! Have a good week! -Elder Hazeslip Trying to get the end off of a weed-eater to do service. Hidden Canyon (Lilly Grade)

SERIAL KILLER?!

This was a pretty good week. Especially when I stopped being sick. I went on exchanges with Elder Kennedy. It was nice since we never got to finish our exchange up in Hailey. We had a good time even though I spent half of the exchange sick. We got to spend some time reminiscing and whatnot. THEN We ended the exchange and had lunch with the other Elders after weekly planning. Then they got a call from the assistants informing us that Elder Kennedy was being emergency transferred (ET'd) AGAIN! In return for giving Elder Kennedy back to Twin, we received ELDER WOFFINDEN! Poor Elder Nielson though... Third companion of the transfer. Other than that we had a typical week. Talking to people, mostly the people we already knew, not to many new people right now  PICS The last two were from a service project. SUMMER IS HERE! Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip
