TEANCUM!



Hello!

We got to go to the temple today. It was awesome! We only get to go once every three months or so, so it is always something we look forward to.

Earlier in the week we had a lesson with a woman who had been attending church for the past few weeks. She was new in town and just didn't know what church to go to, but her mother recommended that she come to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We taught her about the Restoration and she said that it made sense. We then had her read Moroni 10:4-5

4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
Well, she then asked how to pray and we told her. Without us asking her too, she just started. As she asked we could feel the Spirit very strongly, when she finished she told us that she knew it was true with all her heart. God keeps his promises--always in His own time. It was cool to see the promise fulfilled immediately.

This week we also got to go to Hailey for the baptism of B! It was cool to see Sun Valley green; only the tips of the mountains had snow on them. Time goes by fast, but glad to see the work still progressing up there!

HOLA!  [Warm-up] Ok, I'm just gonna start writing because I don't even know what to say to get myself started typing. The smoke came back and I'm not too happy about that. Maybe I'll delete this when I am done, maybe not. Only time will tell. Last Preparation day we went to the Steadmans in Raft River. We got to do the slides without water. It didn't work too well, so it kinda just turned into a competition to see who could make it the farthest. We also did the zipline. That was pretty fun. Especially if you use the slide blankets as a cape. We did service again at the barnyard. We helped pick some of the vegetables I helped plant  4 MONTHS AGO?!?!!?  Time really needs to chill out, we got way too many vegetables and are scrambling to use them for something before they go bad. Wow! This week was really good. I know because it felt like a few days, but looking back it contained a month of top quality content. Service: We did service at the Barnyard again. This week they had us pound in like 20 T-posts. They fenced in their entire front yard because too many chickens crossed the road. T: "We just can't figure out what it is that they want out there in the road..." Me (In my mind because I'm not that bold): An escape from their cruel existence? Anyway, I still saw the pig. This is the sow, they moved her in on her own because she is going to have babies and they don't want the other pigs to eat them... Pigs are pigs. S: On Tuesday, we went to read the Book of Mormon with S. As we were talking to him, he told us to follow him to the basement house to see if we could pick up his ammo can full of pennies. The Lord can always use you for something, even if it is just for a bad example.

Ok, it is time to write an email detailing this weeks events. (Alternative Subject Line was "Mountains to Climb", but I went with the best quote from Sunday School this week instead) Last preparation day we went hiking with half of the district in Sun Valley.  Sun Valley is home to the world’s first chair lift, and we hiked the mountain (Proctor) that it was constructed on. Here are pictures (feat. TREES!?!): Our [not] pet was meowing and patting at the window by Elder Silva's bed when we got up in the morning (we are on the second floor). So we opened the window to take it back downstairs.  Elder Silva likes lint rollers. Another perk of serving in Sun Valley is that we have a mountain in our backyard.
