It looks like y'all are having a party in here!

HEY!
So this this week was exchanges with Elder Silva. He is from Peru and the easiest missionary to get along with in the world.

We visited the retired deputy again and mostly got stories about crashing cop cars. And we also saw some pigs. That service got cancelled this week because they were sick. So we had to find other stuff to do, we found new pigs.

Later on in the week we had the first ever "District Council".

If you didn't hear, they released a new version of Preach My Gospel.

"District Meetings" have been replaced with "District Council". It is basically the same thing but we all sit in a circle now.

Also, the word "Investigator" is now pretty much a swear word. The new term is "person being taught" or "person with interest".

District Council

After the District Council meeting the hubcap on our Corolla fell off. The Malta Elders were behind us so they picked it up. This will be more important a bit later.

Here are some pictures from Albion. We drove a bit closer to the mountain than we normally go and I found TREES!

TREES

Also reindeer! (Elk farm in Albion)

I wonder what the rent on this place would be?

Anyway, after we came down from Albion on Sunday, we realized that the hubcap was missing again. With no Malta Elders to save us this time, we now begin the search throughout our area for a 2014 Corolla hubcap...

OH YEAH! Arkansas made it to the college world series! We walked in on someone watching it. Apparently I was visibly excited or something because his wife ran to the TV and turned it off. Which got me a sympathetic look from her husband.

I later on found out that they lost...

Anyway! I PROMISE this was a good week. Just kinda tame. You can't live life in the LOCO lane every week.

That being said, things around here can't stay this tame for long. Looking forward to the week ahead!!

Love you all!

Q & A
1. Best day this week? Probably Friday, I was on exchanges with Elder Silva (also trained by Elder Hodge). We actually had pretty much all of our appointments cancel, so that was a bit of a bummer. But it was still fun though.

2. What made you lol this week? It was pretty funny watching the Malta elders walk up behind us with our hubcap. It apparently was a good excuse to get them out of a phone call that wouldn't end, "UHH! We gotta go! Their tire fell off!" *Click*

3. What did you learn this week? There is a new preach my gospel. It is for all members to read and not just FT Missionaries. Consider this a book recommendation!

4. Song recommendation? In The Blood -John Mayer

5. Best food this week? We had a hot dog roast while I was with Silva. That was a first and pretty good.

6. Any July 4th Ward parties? I don't know. We are going to help with the 4th of July parade in Albion. They pretty much all just have community events that they do instead of just Church events.

7. Spiritual highlight this week? Definitely our visit with J.! He has such a strong testimony it is crazy. Hope I don't get transferred so I can stay here to see it!

8. Any questions for me? YES! Origin of the words (Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc.)

9. Do you need anything? Soo... Confession time. I left my retainer at home... SO if you could send that. I will start the process of cramming it back in!

10. How are your investigators  persons with interest doing? They are doing alright. We weren't able to meet with a lot of them. J. is still progressing strong. We just need to get him an interview and get it done!

Rest assured, we are staying VERY busy.
