HEY I get to email you now

Last night went really well, I got put in a temporary room with 3 other missionaries who showed up a day early as well.  There were also several other new missionaries who weren't in our room . Almost all of them were from different countries but my companion for the day was from Wisconsin. He is going to Japan. The other two missionaries we shared a room with were from Wales and were both going to the France Lyon Mission. Anyway, today the rest of the missionaries are arriving and I have an iPad that I get to use while in the CCM (MTC en Español). I put my bags in my legitimate room and went to see my teacher. She began speaking Spanish right away but I was prepared, I haven't used English with her yet. 

 OH YEAH! I almost forgot to tell you, yesterday there was a devotional that was broadcast to all of the other MTCs. Elder Neil L. Anderson and his wife spoke. It was really cool, I was just a few rows down. According to the other missionaries who have been here a while, they have had three Apostles come and speak here over the past couple of weeks. I'm doing well and the food is acceptable so far. Sorry I haven't taken any pictures yet as I wasn't expecting to get to email you so soon. HOLA!  [Warm-up] Ok, I'm just gonna start writing because I don't even know what to say to get myself started typing. The smoke came back and I'm not too happy about that. Maybe I'll delete this when I am done, maybe not. Only time will tell. Last Preparation day we went to the Steadmans in Raft River. We got to do the slides without water. It didn't work too well, so it kinda just turned into a competition to see who could make it the farthest. We also did the zipline. That was pretty fun. Especially if you use the slide blankets as a cape. We did service again at the barnyard. We helped pick some of the vegetables I helped plant  4 MONTHS AGO?!?!!?  Time really needs to chill out, we got way too many vegetables and are scrambling to use them for something before they go bad. Wow! This week was really good. I know because it felt like a few days, but looking back it contained a month of top quality content. Service: We did service at the Barnyard again. This week they had us pound in like 20 T-posts. They fenced in their entire front yard because too many chickens crossed the road. T: "We just can't figure out what it is that they want out there in the road..." Me (In my mind because I'm not that bold): An escape from their cruel existence? Anyway, I still saw the pig. This is the sow, they moved her in on her own because she is going to have babies and they don't want the other pigs to eat them... Pigs are pigs. S: On Tuesday, we went to read the Book of Mormon with S. As we were talking to him, he told us to follow him to the basement house to see if we could pick up his ammo can full of pennies. The Lord can always use you for something, even if it is just for a bad example.

Ok, it is time to write an email detailing this weeks events. (Alternative Subject Line was "Mountains to Climb", but I went with the best quote from Sunday School this week instead) Last preparation day we went hiking with half of the district in Sun Valley.  Sun Valley is home to the world’s first chair lift, and we hiked the mountain (Proctor) that it was constructed on. Here are pictures (feat. TREES!?!): Our [not] pet was meowing and patting at the window by Elder Silva's bed when we got up in the morning (we are on the second floor). So we opened the window to take it back downstairs.  Elder Silva likes lint rollers. Another perk of serving in Sun Valley is that we have a mountain in our backyard.
