17 Point Ninja Laser Course



HELLO! Sorry I didn't send anything last week. (but let's be real, 90-something weeks and I missed one email, not bad) We are now back in the family history center and I have some stories to tell.

Last week for preparation day Elder Greenwood and I went fishing. A member in one of our wards had some secret technique to catch all of the trout in this huge lake (it involved a lot of powerbait) SO we caught a lot of fish. Then we ate them later. It was a good time.

Throughout the week we had a lot of success. It is all part of the fundamental theory of trunkiness:

"If you think about home constantly, but work hard, it cancels out and you are never trunky."

 So I will be continuing to apply this for the rest of my time in the Idaho Pocatello Mission.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention?

(Subject line comes from dinner yesterday. The family was trying to say the number 17 in as many different contexts as they could. At the end the said that I failed and didn't notice that it was the number of days I had left. This was one of the subtle reference.)

Wow! This week was really good. I know because it felt like a few days, but looking back it contained a month of top quality content. Service: We did service at the Barnyard again. This week they had us pound in like 20 T-posts. They fenced in their entire front yard because too many chickens crossed the road. T: "We just can't figure out what it is that they want out there in the road..." Me (In my mind because I'm not that bold): An escape from their cruel existence? Anyway, I still saw the pig. This is the sow, they moved her in on her own because she is going to have babies and they don't want the other pigs to eat them... Pigs are pigs. S: On Tuesday, we went to read the Book of Mormon with S. As we were talking to him, he told us to follow him to the basement house to see if we could pick up his ammo can full of pennies. Rest assured, we are staying VERY busy.

HOLA!  [Warm-up] Ok, I'm just gonna start writing because I don't even know what to say to get myself started typing. The smoke came back and I'm not too happy about that. Maybe I'll delete this when I am done, maybe not. Only time will tell. Last Preparation day we went to the Steadmans in Raft River. We got to do the slides without water. It didn't work too well, so it kinda just turned into a competition to see who could make it the farthest. We also did the zipline. That was pretty fun. Especially if you use the slide blankets as a cape. We did service again at the barnyard. We helped pick some of the vegetables I helped plant  4 MONTHS AGO?!?!!?  Time really needs to chill out, we got way too many vegetables and are scrambling to use them for something before they go bad. Goodbye Boise

HELLO! Last week we tried to go sledding (Just like every other week) but there was TOO MUCH SNOW! That being said we will try again today. Other than that this week has flown by. Why? BOISE TRIP THAT'S WHY! It has been brought to my attention that every trip to Boise from here on out could be the last time I ever see that  beautiful  metropolis in my life (that is what the subject line means, so don't panic). With all of the traffic, and people, and traffic. The only downside being the traffic of course.      We did run into the very isolated Boise Spanish Missionaries though! (Pic at top of blog) The trip was made better by the fact that I got to go with good ole Elder Woodin, who just got transferred out of our district less than two weeks ago.
