The Hidden Canyon



Hello everybody. This week has been weird. The days are ticking down. We had our final zone conference with President Bartlett. It also may have been my final zone conference as well. Time will tell. 

ENDURING TO THE END!

This week we have managed to stay busy through the trunkiness. Elder Smith got his visa this week so he will be going to Ecuador next week. We visited all of the people we normally do. We also contacted new people during a dust storm in Castleford. When we were on our way to see a family we visit every week in Castleford, we realized that we were early. So we went to the end of the road to turn around and realized that there was a FAT CANYON less than a mile south of their house. We explored that then returned just in time for the appointment. 


Anyway, all I have left for this week are pictures! Have a good week!

Wow! This week was really good. I know because it felt like a few days, but looking back it contained a month of top quality content. Service: We did service at the Barnyard again. This week they had us pound in like 20 T-posts. They fenced in their entire front yard because too many chickens crossed the road. T: "We just can't figure out what it is that they want out there in the road..." Me (In my mind because I'm not that bold): An escape from their cruel existence? Anyway, I still saw the pig. This is the sow, they moved her in on her own because she is going to have babies and they don't want the other pigs to eat them... Pigs are pigs. S: On Tuesday, we went to read the Book of Mormon with S. As we were talking to him, he told us to follow him to the basement house to see if we could pick up his ammo can full of pennies. Rest assured, we are staying VERY busy.

HOLA!  [Warm-up] Ok, I'm just gonna start writing because I don't even know what to say to get myself started typing. The smoke came back and I'm not too happy about that. Maybe I'll delete this when I am done, maybe not. Only time will tell. Last Preparation day we went to the Steadmans in Raft River. We got to do the slides without water. It didn't work too well, so it kinda just turned into a competition to see who could make it the farthest. We also did the zipline. That was pretty fun. Especially if you use the slide blankets as a cape. We did service again at the barnyard. We helped pick some of the vegetables I helped plant  4 MONTHS AGO?!?!!?  Time really needs to chill out, we got way too many vegetables and are scrambling to use them for something before they go bad. Goodbye Boise

HELLO! Last week we tried to go sledding (Just like every other week) but there was TOO MUCH SNOW! That being said we will try again today. Other than that this week has flown by. Why? BOISE TRIP THAT'S WHY! It has been brought to my attention that every trip to Boise from here on out could be the last time I ever see that  beautiful  metropolis in my life (that is what the subject line means, so don't panic). With all of the traffic, and people, and traffic. The only downside being the traffic of course.      We did run into the very isolated Boise Spanish Missionaries though! (Pic at top of blog) The trip was made better by the fact that I got to go with good ole Elder Woodin, who just got transferred out of our district less than two weeks ago.
