I just work here

Hello! We have had a good week! Transfer Calls on Tuesday and I think it's my time to go.  This week we went to Carey to contact the few people we had visited there. Since we talked to them all very quickly we decided to see one of the Hispanic members of the ward to ask for others we could see. He gave us several names, including a young woman who had been attending church with a friend for the past few weeks that the sisters hadn't been aware of. This Sunday we started teaching a Spanish group member's brother and his family. We had tried them before but they never let us in. This time they did, and we were able to teach them about the restoration. They were very receptive and committed to read the Book of Mormon and they want to come to church.  Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip

3/18 Late Post! I spent only 2 Days with Elder Chavez this past week

So yeah, I went on a lot of exchanges this past week. I went to Shoshone with Elder Royal and then to Gooding with Elder Manesse.  On Saturday we had a baptism for a man in Gooding who I helped commit to baptism last transfer on exchanges. So it was cool to see that through to the baptism, although it is far from the end. (Baptism is the gate not the goal.) Anyway, the week went by fast due to all of the exchanges. Excited to see what this week brings! Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip Pictures:

Hello!  Elder Chavez and I are working hard. We found some more people to teach AND we cleaned our apartment! We had zone conference this week too. Still no news on mission merging, but we are getting close so we should know more soon. Here are some pictures from the week! We saw deer that couldn't jump over the snow bank, I went on exchanges with Elder Bonds and there is still lots of snow. Love you all! -Elder Hazeslip

Tracting In Silent Hill

Hey everyone! We had lots of service to do this week. We have a senior couple in our district now. It was nice to have some more people in our district councils. I went in exchanges with Elder Baker in Shoshone for a bit. It was fun. Shoshone is a nice area with just one set of elders there. It was creepy and foggy. Thus the pictures. Then later in the week I went on exchanges with Elder Carter. We had two major service projects with him there. One was moving firewood and the other was digging out a SUV that was buried in snow. We had to recruit the sisters to help with that one.  Anyway, we have zone conference this week! Hopefully we will learn more about the mission split!  Love you all! Have a good week! -Elder Hazeslip
